Text Box: Dear Holy Trinity Parish Family:

Thank you for welcoming me into your midst for the last nine months. With you I tried to regularly preach, learned the duties of a deacon, and sung the Exsultet at the Easter Vigil for the first time. I experienced the special deacon roles at Christmas, Lent, Holy Week, and Easter. Sanctus Bells and Incense were not a part of my normal worship and I thank you for all these experiences.

You welcomed me to your Advisory Board Meetings (now The Vestry) and on the Outreach Committee where I became a part of all the pre-Christmas programs. I attended my first Super Bowl Party with you and Ron Ross gave me football lessons. Fr. Eric invited me to Regional Council Meetings as well. Thank you!

It has been my joy to watch a Sunday school program come into being evolving from the Christmas Pageant. It has been energizing to find teaching materials for Jennifer Corbin and other teachers. Dianna Reitz has given me space to teach at the Women’s Bible Study in May. Thank you!

When I suggested we make shoe box Christmas presents for the Seafarers, your response was overwhelming with purchasing items and packing the 36 boxes after church. Now you are going to have Christmas in July to begin gathering items for the Seafarers again. Thank you!

The Lay Eucharistic Ministers allowed me to be a part of them and to offer some changes. They have worked hard to visit all our parishioners that are home-bound or in long term care facilities. Thank you! I have enjoyed getting to know these very special people and will miss visiting them.

I have watched you welcome everyone in this church community. What a joy it is to know that God can send His beloved people to you to be loved. Everyone who comes is Christ in your midst and they bring special gifts for your community. Continue to welcome them openly.

Congratulations on becoming an Independent Parish!
